Plot and Gameplay

You'll explore monotonous yet somehow distinctive rooms, inevitably tiled on all sides and containing swimming pools. This is the aesthetic of so-called liminal spaces—areas that resemble familiar objects yet appear abandoned and conceal something terrible. There's no joy or happiness there, even though at first glance there's nothing life-threatening.

Your goal is to escape the labyrinthine corridors with swimming pools and return home, free from an incomprehensible nightmare. But this isn't easy, as Poolrooms: The Hidden Exit has numerous doors, each leading somewhere. Use buttons to open the doors one by one and try to find the combination that leads outside.

The game looks very realistic and impressive. The pools are remarkably realistic, and the sound and visual effects create a tension that's especially noticeable with headphones.
